For work, I'm an Internet systems developer, doing online distance learning sites, online community and social networking systems, e-commerce and custom database application sites. I work mostly in LAMP environments (Linux/Apache/mySQL/PHP). I've been programming computers professionally for over 20 years with a focus on large-scale data models, database development, and transaction mapping systems. I love Drupal and other Open Source software, and I develop with it often.

I also have a great time doing podcasting, training workshops and seminars for groups, professionals, and companies in applied technology (complex networks and systems), linguistics for better business (e.g., advanced training for in-bound technical support call centers), and team coordination skills - especially distributed teams (telecommuting and virtual companies). I also teach classes in hypnosis and NLP as well as citizen media classes (podcasting, blogging, zines).
